Here the rich and famous live their lives of luxary, run their buisnesses, and live what seems to be perfect lives. Of course, they all have a secret. Their lives aren't perfect. No, their far from it. Many of the people have skeletons in their closests, ones that they wish to remain there. One thing's for sure, just because someone's pretty doesn't mean they're perfect. The residents of Newport are prime examples of this, though they try hard to hide it. Living a life of luxary isn't all it's cracked up to be. These people have to keep up appearances. Anything and everything they do in this town is noticed, and gossip spreads like a wildfire. Those that have lived there all their lives know how to avoid the gossip train, but sometimes even they make mistakes. Sure, many of the secrets are small, and barely matter at all, but some of them are big, and could ruin the lives of the ones who hold them. Don't have money? Good luck fitting in. Everything here is about money, and how much of it you have. Some people, however, manage to survive. Average people, those that don't have a lot of money anyway, are victim to gossip the most. They hardly ever hear it, though. Only those in the inner circles hear the gossip of everyone, but even the lower circles have thier news. You'd be amazed what gets around, and what doesn't stay secret for long. It's not hard to find out what's going on, and whose up to what. If the town says anything about the people, then just imagine the high school. The teens that attend are just as bad as their parents. Gossip travels fast, and everyone has a clique. People are judged, grouped, and beaten down. If you don't belong somewhere, you'll be eaten alive. Some people belong to more than one clique, some belong to none. Drama is around every corner. Many thrive on it, others try to avoid it. No matter what, it's always going to be there, and there's just no stopping it. Love, Money, and Drama. This is Orange County High.
